The Oithlings are inhabitants of the planet Oith in the role playing game, Low Life. The Oithlings community gamification project is a (no-longer-fully-maintained) custom gamification setup using multiple plugins within a WordPress website. It is still mostly functional, but there were certain administrative pieces that have not been kept up. Check it out here.

The Oithlings are the Mutha Oith Creations street team, promotional squad, and interactive happy-time fun club.

Members earn points (also known as “clams”), badges, and accolades which they can collect and boldly display in order to impress other peeps, get discounts, nab sweet gifts and merchandise, flaunt across the leaderboard, and generally improve the quality of life for all people everywhere for all time.

Oithlings get clams for many activities, like posting on the forum, sharing official posts on Facebook and Twitter, running Mutha Oith Creations games at cons and game stores, posting pictures of your home games, or even getting tattoos!

Basically, anything that helps promote Mutha Oith Creations will raise an Oithling’s standing and give them a chance to earn free stuff.
