Competency Model AOE: Evaluation

As a learning professional, you’ve likely heard of Kirkpatrick’s four levels of evaluation and how to measure learning. But have you discovered that your evaluations aren’t giving you the information that you need? 

Do you struggle with selecting the right type of questions to use when assessing learning? Do you know when to use a performance test, review test, or a criterion test? Once you’ve gathered your evaluation data, do you know that it’s reliable? Do your training evaluations align with business objectives and show results?

In this session, we reviewed the Kirkpatrick model and evaluation instruments you can use at each level, as well as best practices for successful evaluations of any type. Participants shared evaluation challenges and successes with your peers, and left the session with templates and plans to make their next learning evaluations “pass the taste test!”
